Our partner, an innovative automotive tier-1 supplier in Ingolstadt, is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen the product security posture of their connected vehicle platforms.
What you will do
- •Perform Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA) for automotive control units and connected vehicle systems
- •Specify and design cybersecurity concepts and architectures in compliance with ISO/SAE 21434
- •Support development teams in implementing secure coding practices and cryptographic solutions
- •Plan and execute vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and security validations
- •Act as the central point of contact for OEM customers regarding vehicle cybersecurity topics
What you bring
- •Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or Engineering
- •Proven experience in embedded systems security, ideally within the automotive sector
- •Deep knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155, or IEC 62443
- •Familiarity with cryptographic algorithms, secure boot, and hardware security modules (HSM)
- •Excellent analytical skills; fluency in English and German (B2 level is mandatory)
